The topic « Orexins and digestive diseases of the « From inflammation to Neoplasia in digestive diseases » team (CRI) has obtained the Sanofi Innovation iAward Europe 2019 (100,000 euros) to develop one antibody which mimic the anti-tumoral effect of orexins in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC). This award will allow to characterize this antibody (named C2) developed by a phage display strategy. It could lead to participate in the treatment process of PDAC and more generally for digestive cancers.
