The Inflammation Research Center includes three scientific axes:

Axis 1 – Pathophysiology of inflammatory & fibrotic diseases

Identify the common characteristics of inflammatory mechanisms in immune cells, endothelial cells and fibroblasts (lungs/kidneys/digestive tract)

Axis 2 – Oncogenic inflammation & tumor development

Decipher the sequence of pro-oncogenic events in the context of inflammation characterize tumor heterogeneity via the tumor microenvironment

Axis 3 – Signaling and dynamics of immune cells

Describe the molecular mechanisms of the inflammatory response, in particular oxidative stress and intracellular trafficking
