The Center for Research in Inflammation (CRIhttps://cri1149.fr) is an internationally recognised research centre in basic, translational and clinical research on inflammatory diseases, fibrosis and cancer. The center is located in the North of Paris and hosts twelve research teams with more than 250 members, organized into the Hepato-Gastroenterology and the Nephrology, Immunology and Hematology Depts. The Institute is located within the Faculty of Medicine of Bichat Hospital in Paris, fostering strong collaborations with numerous clinical departments of the Bichat, Beaujon and Robert Debré Hospitals (including depts of Hepatology, Pathology, Intensive care, Nephrology, Internal Medicine, Radiology) and access to human samples. The Center is equipped with state-of-the-art on-site core facilities, including in vivo and molecular imaging, flow cytometry, biochemistry and metabolic platform and animal facilities. Context

The CRI wishes to recruit a junior group leader to develop basic and translational research projects in the field of inflammatory diseases, fibrosis and cancer. Expertise in organ inflammation, bioinformatics and imaging are welcome. Selection of candidates will be based on outstanding quality of their scientific record, project and ability to interact with existing research teams and clinicians of the site. The newly recruited research group will benefit from state-of-the-art research equipment, appropriate laboratory and office space as well as access to all core facilities. The successful candidate will benefit from a seed grant from the unit and will be supported in their applications for national and international funding, as well for French Institutional researcher position.
