The CRI retreat took place from October 17 to 19, 2022 in an idyllic place in the middle of the maritime pines bordered by the waters of the Bassin d’Arcachon for a work seminar preparing the next renewal of the center.
We would like to thank Philippe Ruszniewski, Dean of the UFR of Medicine at the University of Paris Cité, who welcomed the development of our “young research unit” during the opening session. The Center was indeed created on January 1st, 2014 and gathers currently more than 250 researchers, doctors, engineers and administrators, in collaboration with 4 hospitals of the AP-HP (Assistance Publique – Hôpitaux de Paris): Bichat, Beaujon , Robert Debre and Louis Mourier.
Renato Monteiro and Valérie Paradis presented the ambitions of the future center and defined the schedule of events that will unfold until its renewal and beyond, since by 2028, the CRI will move to the new facilities of the Campus hospitalo- University of Saint-Ouen Greater Paris North.
All team leaders presented the projetct of their team for version 2.0 of the CRI and the members of the current INSERM unit 1152 “Physiopathology and Epidemiology of respiratory diseases”, led by Marina Pretolani, as well as Ralph Sinkus and Rémi Nicolle who joined us this year.
During these three days, there were fruitfull discussions, scientific exchanges, and moments of conviviality, stimulating new collaborations and strengthening links between the different teams and staff.
We are very grateful for the wonderful administrative team who organized this retreat perfectly, ordering even a generous sun and would like to add a very special thanks to Anaely Landois who we missed particularly on this occasion.
Congratulats to all people who made this retreat a great success!
