The 38th annual meeting of the Club d’Etudes des Cellules Epithéliales Digestives (CEDED) which will be held from June 25 to 26, 2020. This club organizes every year a two-day meeting allowing discussion of the scientific advances around the epithelial cell which is involved in various pathophysiological processes (cancer, inflammation, digestive diseases). This club has about 250 members including institutional and university researchers, clinicians, postdoctoral and doctoral students. The main goal of this club is to promote the young researchers to present and discuss their results. In june 2020, the CECED will take place in the context of the Journées Francophones d’Hépato-gastroentérologie et d’Oncologie Digestive (JFHOD, https://www.jfhod.com) at Palais des Congrès in Paris. This meeting brings together annually about 4000 attendees including hospital clinicians, physicians coming from francophone countries (France, Belgium, Swiss, North Africa, Lebanon, Canada…). As every year, the CECED awards 3 communications performed by young researchers. Moreover, the Claude Rozé (Physiologist having worked at INSERM on the Bichat Site) award will allowed a doctoral student to prepare his/her postdoctoral position. Some members of the CRI are members of the executive board and/or members of the steering committee of the CECED meeting. Moreover, CRI supports the CECED/JFHOD 2020 meeting organization.
