It’s already been several weeks since the health alert was launched in France. In the midst of the confinement, CRI teams are providing support to Research and particularly to the Bichat hospital, by making personnel, equipment and materials available.
Continuity of research activities, and in particular active collaboration with teams outside CRI on Codiv19, is assured.
The French Ministry of Health and Solidarity regularly updates its recommendations to protect your health and advise you on the best ways to deal with the Coronavirus COVID-19.

Intra-CRI information
On March 16, 2020, the President of the Republic decided to take measures to reduce contact and travel to the strict minimum. A nationwide containment system will be in place from Tuesday March 17 at 12:00 p.m. until April 15, 2020. Travel is forbidden except in the following cases, and only if you have a certificate for :
- Travel from home to work if telecommuting is not possible;
- Shop for essentials in authorized local stores;
- Visit a healthcare professional;
- Move around to look after your children or help vulnerable people on the strict condition that you respect the barrier gestures;
- Exercise only on an individual basis, around the home and without any gatherings.

The “employer” certificate is valid for the duration of the confinement and does not have to be renewed every day. The non-work-related travel certificate is valid for 24 hours only.

Official printed certificates and affidavits written on plain paper are the only valid documents.

As part of the sanitary measures taken in response to the spread of Covid-19, new measures have been put in place that are likely to evolve rapidly.

Instructions in case of symptoms
In case of signs of respiratory infection (fever or feverish sensation, cough, breathing difficulties):
- Contact the Samu Centre 15 and describe your symptoms;
- Avoid contact with those around you;
- Don’t go to your GP or emergency room, to avoid potential contamination.
- Keep travel to a minimum.
