The Centre for Inflammation Research has three scientific divisions:
Axis 1 – Pathophysiology of inflammatory and fibrotic diseases
Identify common features of inflammatory mechanisms in immune, endothelial and fibroblast cells (lung/kidney/digestive tract)

Axis 2 – Oncogenic inflammation & tumor development
Decipher the sequence of pro-oncogenic events in the context of inflammation Characterize tumor heterogeneity via the tumor microenvironment

Axis 3 – Immunology, signaling and cell dynamics
To uncover the cellular and molecular immunopathological processes underlying various chronic inflammatory diseases, immune-mediated conditions, anti-tumor immunity, and the development of fibrotic diseases affecting the kidneys, lungs, intestines, and liver.
