I obtained a PhD in genetics and molecular physiology in 2011 from Blaise Pascal University (Clermont-Fd, France). I did my post-doctorate at Georgia State University where I then continued as an Assistant Professor, during which time I developed my research on miRNAs and host-microbiota interactions, with the support of two successive grants from the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation. I have acquired expertise in miRNA research, intestinal physiology, colitis models in mice, IBD, inflammation, colorectal cancer and biomarker studies. With the support of a Marie Skłodowska-Curie individual fellowship – now completed, I joined CRI in 2019 in J-P Hugot’s team, where I obtained a position as INSERM Research Fellow. My current research objectives aim to identify new therapeutic strategies acting on host/microbiota interactions in the context of IBD and other disorders associated with dysbiosis, in order to prevent disturbances and/or restore intestinal homeostasis.
