Son int\u00e9r\u00eat avait \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9cemment soulign\u00e9 pour le diagnostic du syndrome my\u00e9loprolif\u00e9ratif, chez des patients ayant une thrombose veineuse splanchnique sans cirrhose. Par une collaboration entre l\u2019h\u00f4pital Beaujon et l\u2019h\u00f4pital Saint Louis, PE Rautou et Jean-Jacques Kiladjian ont montr\u00e9 que le profilage mol\u00e9culaire de ces patients permet l\u2019identification des malades qui sont \u00e0 haut risque de transformation<\/span><span class=\"\">\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"\">maligne<\/span><span class=\"\">\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"\">et dont le pronostic est plus sombre. Ceci fait du\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"\">\u00a0NGS non seulement un outil diagnostic mais \u00e9galement th\u00e9ranostique.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>[:]","paragraphe_en":"[:en]<p>Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) has become a diagnostic tool for many oncological diseases. Its interest was recently underlined for the diagnosis of myeloproliferative syndrome, in patients with splanchnic venous thrombosis without cirrhosis. Through a collaboration between Beaujon hospital and Saint Louis hospital, PE Rautou and Jean-Jacques Kiladjian have shown that molecular profiling of these patients allows the identification of patients who are at high risk of malignant transformation and whose prognosis is darker.
