Tarik Asselah, a professor of hepatology and a recognised specialist in liver diseases and viral hepatitis, has devoted much of his career to research, teaching and patient care. Throughout his career, he has upheld a high standard of medical practice, in which scientific rigour goes hand in hand with active listening, knowledge-sharing and care for others. <\/p>\n\n
