{"id":78003,"date":"2023-04-07T17:45:32","date_gmt":"2023-04-07T15:45:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cri1149.fr\/actuetu\/back-to-ceced-2023\/"},"modified":"2026-10-20T22:59:56","modified_gmt":"2026-10-20T20:59:56","slug":"back-to-ceced-2023","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cri1149.fr\/en\/news\/back-to-ceced-2023\/","title":{"rendered":"Back to CECED 2023"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\">The CRI took part in the 40th edition of theClub d\u2019Etude des Cellules Epith\u00e9liales Digestives (CECED) in Strasbourg in March 2023.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Digestive Epithelial Cells Study Group (CECED) organises an annual conference to highlight scientific advances relating to digestive epithelial cells, which are involved in numerous pathophysiological processes, including cancers, inflammation and the microbiota\u2026 This event brings together around 150 participants: researchers, academic staff, university hospital staff, PhD students and postdoctoral researchers.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The main aim of the annual meeting is to foster exchanges between the various French-speaking research teams working in the field of digestive disorders. It places great emphasis on young researchers through the presentation and discussion of their findings, with prizes awarded each year for the best presentations. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Furthermore, every year, the CECED awards the Claude Roz\u00e9 Prize (worth 1,500 euros) to a young PhD student to help them undertake a postdoctoral fellowship in the field of digestive pathophysiology.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00a0<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This year, the CRI was represented by: <\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Alice Garrigues, a first-year PhD student in the PIMS team, who received one of the awards for best oral presentations for her work on adaptations during Short Bowel Syndrome.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A Garrigues, S Fourati, D Atger, B De Dreuille, L Ribeiro Parenti, F Joly, M Le Gall, A Bado, J Le Beyec. <br\/>Intestinal adaptations and food intake in a mouse model of short bowel syndrome, with and without treatment with a GLP-2 analogue.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00a0<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Mait\u00e9 Casado-Bedmara, a postdoctoral researcher in JP Hugot\u2019s team, who presented her findings on miRNAs in IBD.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mait\u00e9 Casado-Bedmar, Maryline Roy, Jean-Pierre Hugot, Benoit Chassaing, Emilie Viennois. <br\/>Faecal miRNAs are mediators of host-microbiota interactions and key regulators of intestinal permeability and inflammation.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00a0<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Diane Lorenzo, a gastroenterologist and a second-year PhD student in the Couvineau Paradis team:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Diane Lorenzo, Ana\u00efs Chassac, Anne Couvelard, C\u00e9cile Haumaitre.
