For almost 10 years, the Bichat site’s laboratories have been participating in the Apprentis Researchers program developed in partnership with the L’Arbre des Connaissances association and neighboring schools.

The objective: a pair of students (a 3rd year high school student + a 1st year high school student, chosen by letter of motivation) is welcomed and supervised in the laboratory for 8 sessions in the year (one Wednesday afternoon per month) about). It’s about making them discover the world and the research professions, carry out with them a small scientific project, have them experiment and present their project at the end of the school year at a mini congress common to the Lariboisiere, Bobigny sites. and Bichat.

Every year, thanks to the involvement of the teams, the CRI welcomes between 6 and 12 pairs.

Who can mentor young people? Everybody ! PhD students, post-docs, statutory staff, technicians …: the only criterion is motivation.

Why get involved? To learn about scientific mediation, discover and promote the world of research to a young and uninformed public. For the wealth of meetings with students, teachers, other supervisors …

For PhD students: your participation in Apprentice Researchers can be valued in your doctoral path (validation of an EU). The association offers, in addition, a theoretical day of training in scientific mediation.

We look forward to seeing you here this year to continue this great scientific and human adventure.

Severine Letuve, responsible for the Action Apprentis Researchers on the site Bichat.
