SUMMARY:Multiscale mechanistic modeling and statistical learning for healthcare
DESCRIPTION:We are delighted to invite you to a unique interdisciplinary workshop organized by INSERM\, where biologists\, clinicians and modelers will co-construct projects to decipher the complexity of life. This will not be a traditional seminar\, but a workshop in a participatory format\, with the concrete aims of :  \n\n\nintegrate different technologies\, methods and expertise (modelling\, AI\, single-cell\, lineage tracing\, spatial OMIC\, organoids\, etc.) to make progress on joint inter-disciplinary projects\, particularly in cancerology.\n\n\n\ntake stock of new experimental techniques requiring modeling approaches for their analysis\n\n\n\nstructure the biology-health modeling community\, particularly within Inserm\, to identify and communicate our needs in terms of recruitment and funding tools\n\n\nWhy come? \n\n\nA unique format: alternating presentations (keynote\, state of the art and openings)\, interactive workshops\, open discussions and collaborative work to combine data and modeling tools (mechanistic models\, learning\, causal inference…).\n\n\n\nAccessible to all: whether you’re an expert in modelling\, AI\, biologists or clinicians\, your contribution is essential to the emergence of applicative projects in oncology.\n\n\n\nConcrete deliverables: directory\, state of the art\, mapping of methods and project embryos at the end of the 3 days.\n\n\nDates: June 8-10\, 2026 Location: CRCL Amphitheatre\, 28 rue Laennec\, Lyon \n\nPre-register now to block the dates and help us organize the event: 👉 Survey link(A second survey will be sent to you shortly to collect your interests and proposed contributions) \n\nYou can share this invitation by limiting it to permanent researchers or senior post-docs from your teams.
